The Basics

We truly believe that effective websites are an essential and critical part of today’s Church.  Website bring together congregations, provide information for new members, and connect ministries in ways that can’t be done outside of today’s internet.

However, this doesn’t have to be time consuming or cost intensive!  We have specifically developed and hand-picked our software to make it effective and affordable.

We often get asked – what does Building 1 Creative mean?

The “Building 1” part is for the Church, the “First Building” to support God’s Kingdom.  The Church is an essential part of Christ’s mission, and a cornerstone of completing God’s work to reach everyone with the gospel of Christ.  For us, supporting this mission is an essential part of what we do.

The “Creative” part is for our earthly passion – creating effective web, print, and marketing to further the Church.  We feel blessed and honored to be able to combine our first passion (God’s Kingdom) with what we love to do (offer creative and effective website solutions).

Values

Our primary focus is first and foremost on helping churches to focus on further God’s message based on the Gospel of His Son – Jesus Christ.  This drives what we do, and are committed to this message.

Steve is the founder and owner of Blue Indie Media. His experience includes working in a variety of industries in both digital and traditional marketing as well as graphic/website design and user experience enhancement. He is a graduate of the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University and the MBA program at the University of Louisville.

Becky Franklin

Becky Franklin

Co-Owner and Design Consultant

Becky is the Co-Owner and director of quality at Blue Indie Media. She is a graduate of Baylor University, and of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
